1. Apache não compila PHP

Pessoal, tenho o Ubuntu 14 no pc com Apache , até uma semana atrás estava tudo ocorrendo normalmente com minha aplicação PHP, mas após uma tentativa de colocar o site no ar que não obtive sucesso, resolvi desistir disso e voltar ao site local (localhost).
Mas percebi que meu PHPmyAdmin não aceitava mais nenhuma senha minha e fui tentando resolver esse problema e já tentei reinstalar tudo novamente e agora nem o código php com phpinfo() funciona mais e o php não é interpretado.

quando digito no navegador "localhost/phpmyadmin" aparece um codigo fonte na tela.

Eu tento remover o phpmyadmin e tenho o erro:
"E: libapache2-mod-php5filter: sub-processo script post-installation instalado retornou estado de saída de erro 10
E: php5-cgi: sub-processo script post-installation instalado retornou estado de saída de erro 10".

Fico muito grata caso alguem possa me ajudar.

Não da nenhum erro..
na pagina localhost/phpmyadmin mostra um cogido fonte
e na localhost mostra a pagina inicial do meu sistema, mas sem mostrar as partes em php, apenas o html

O PHP está instalado ???

complicado o bagulho aí .... esse comando te retorna o q ??

echo "<?php phpinfo(); ?>" | sudo tee /var/www/html/test.php

sudo /etc/init.d/apache2 restart

abra no terminal >>> http://localhost/test.php

O resultado no navegador deu :

Not Found

The requested URL /test.php was not found on this server.

E o restart do apache deu:

* Restarting web server apache2 AH00558: apache2: Could not reliably determine the server's fully qualified domain name, using 127.0.1.1. Set the 'ServerName' directive globally to suppress this message
[ OK ]

E o resultado do comando "echo "<?php phpinfo(); ?>" | sudo tee /var/www/html/test.php
" deu :

tenta isso ... adicione no final do arquivo "/etc/apache2/apache2.conf" isso .... "ServerName localhost"( sem aspas) ... e reinicie o apache

sudo service apache2 restart

...

agora ele reiniciou :
* Restarting web server apache2 [ OK ]

Mas o restante continua da mesma forma. quando digitado o endereco localhost/test.php, aparece no navegador o conteudo do arquivo .

tente isso aqui .... só fica esperta pq não é mais a pasta "/var/www" ... agogra se usa a pasta "/var/www/html" .... e outra coisa ... todos os comandos tem que ser dados ou como root ou com sudo !!!
