phpmyadmin parou de funcionar após atualizar para o ubuntu 17.10

Ola galera, então

eu atualizei recentemente o meu ubuntu ele tava 17.04 para 17.10 e o meu phpmyadmin parou de funciona tipo quando eu acesso a página localhost/phpmyadmin a pagina abre pra mim porem aparece um monte de letreiro do phpmyadmin como este:

será que é possivel corrigir este erro ou será que vou ter que volta a versão do meu ubuntu ?

-atualizar versões do ubuntu é uma operação de risco
-por isso muitos recomendam instalação limpa a partir do dvd/pednrive
-principalmente quando há mudanças importantes como do 17.04 que usava unity p/ 17.10 que usa gnome
-eu faria bkp de meus arquivos e instalaria ubuntu-16.04-lts que terá suporte até abril/2021
-pois 17.04 terá suporte até janeiro/2018 e 17.10 até julho/2018

então o apache, php, mysql ta funcionando perfeitamente, o que bulgou mesmo foi o phpmyadmin. Eu ja desinstalei tudo e instalei de volta e deu o mesmo problema, eu voltei a versao para 17.04 eu instalei tudo de novo e funcionou. to achando que o ubuntu na versão 17.10 que bulgou tudo
