1. Tela sem sinal após instalar driver OpenChrome [RESOLVIDO]

Recentemente instalei o Lubuntu 18.04 LTS no meu PC e instalei o driver OpenChrome. Depois de executar
sudo apt update && sudo apt install xserver-xorg-video-openchrome 
e reiniciar o PC, ele deixou de dar vídeo! Consigo acessar o tty apenas
Intel Pentium 4 2.6 GHz
2GB RAM 400MHz
IGP VIA PM800 S3 UniChrome Pro

Você consegue iniciar o X com o comando startx no tty?

Aparece alguma mensagem de erro?

Executei o comando startx no tty e agr ficou sem sinal tbm... Só consigo acessar o tty2 e os outros. Existe algum arquivo log para eu verificar se houve erro?

Rode o comando:
sudo nano /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist-framebuffer.conf  


Procure essas linhas:
#blacklist vesafb
#blacklist viafb
#blacklist vt8623fb

Remova o # dessas três

Pressione Ctrl + X, depois Y e Enter.

Renicie o computador.

Remova o # dessas três

Pressione Ctrl + X, depois Y e Enter.

Renicie o computador.


Executei os passos acima e não rolou... Apenas o viafb estava com "#"

Eu andei pesquisando na internet e me lembrei dessa gambiarra:

Ele resolveu o problema removendo o OpenChrome. Segundo ele, a resolução ficou correta e o X deu vídeo.

sudo apt-get remove xserver-xorg-video-openchrome

Executei o comando e o vídeo voltou, mas em uma resolução baixíssima: 640x480. fiz uma mudança no GLXMODE em /etc/default/grub e a resolução voltou! Vou ter que me contentar com o vesa msm... Mto obg!

Resolução está correta! Desempenho está bem ruim... A combinação do vesa com uma placa VIA antiga e sem suporte não poderia ser pior! Vou ver se consigo uma placa AGP bem barata pra dar uma sobrevida ao PC!
