Problemas com o Drive da Nvidia

Bom dia a todos

Bom depois de alguns problemas com o meu micro consegui instalar novamente o Slack 13, mas estou com problemas na placa de video

Baixei o drive da placa no site da Nvidia e coloquei na pasta Download, onde ficou :

"NVIDIA-Linux-x86-195,36,15-pkg1,run"

Faço o procedimento para instalação, já deixando o X desativado;

# cd /home/andre_asn/Downloads
# chamod +x "NVIDIA-Linux-x86-195,36,15-pkg1,run"
./NVIDIA-Linux-x86-195,36,15-pkg1,run

Ele mostra a tela de instalação aceito a mesma e ele termina tudo certo
apenas a tela fica 800x400 para resolver uso

# X -configure
# cp /root/xorg.conf.new /etc/X11/xorg.conf
#reboot

Voltando ao modo de usuario e com o X ja ativado novamente, indo em K configurações, area de trabalho esta marcado que os efeitos nativos do video (uso o Kde) esta ativos mas na hora de fazer os efeitos diz que não posso usar o 3d pois o X não esta devidamente configurado ou o drive não foi instalado

Boa noite voltei a reinstalar o drive da NVIDIA e volto ao mesmo problema mas agora com uma pequena diferença quando insta-lo a tela fica 800x600 e funciona o 3d depois de mudar o Xorg-conf:

# X -configure
# cp /root/xorg.conf.new /etc/X11/xorg.conf

e dar o reboot

a tela volta a ficar 1024x768 mas não da mais o 3d

indo a configuração do KDE e marcando alguns efeitos marca normal e não aparece erro só não faz o efeito desejado
