Bom dia pessoal, entrei no gerenciador de pacotes e mandei recarregar ,depois surgiu uma janela dizendo que ocorreu um erro:W: Duplicate sources.list entry http://packages.medibuntu.org karmic/free Packages (/var/lib/apt/lists/packages.medibuntu.org_dists_karmic_free_binary-i386_Packages)

como devo fazer para consertar esse erro?

Mirror duplicado (como os amigos mencionaram) para reforçar na ajuda siga os passos abaixo.

1) Abrir o arquivo /etc/apt/source.list

Comando:

# vim /etc/apt/source.list

ou

# gedit /etc/apt/source.list

2) Comente a linha referente ao mirror duplicado, para comenta-lo será necessário adicionar um (#) no inicio da linha.

dessa forma:
# deb http://packages.medibuntu.org karmic/free
# deb http://packages.medibuntu.org karmic/non-free

3) Procure saber se não realmente se há realmente duplicidade pois as mirros acima não são iguais um é free e a outra non-free, portanto lá deve ter duas non-free e duas free

deb http://packages.medibuntu.org karmic/free

De acordo com o erro existem entradas duplicadas no arquivo sources.list.

Dá uma olhada no arquivo sources.list e verifica se realmente esta duplicado.

abre o arquivo em /etc/apt/sources.list com um editor de texto, e remove a linha que tiver repetida. salva, vai no terminal e digita sudo apt-get update para atualizar as fontes. depois pode abrir o gerenciador de pacotes de novo. se der certo posta ae!

abra o arquivo em /etc/apt/sources.list com um editor de texto preferido Vin nano,etc..., e remove a linha que tiver repetida. salva, volta ao terminal e digita sudo apt-get update para atualizar as fontes. depois pode abrir o gerenciador de pacotes de novo.Mas tem que ser como root.

entra no seu sources ou canais de software e ve se tem alguma coisa duplicada
