Ele vai mudar bem, a cada atualização...precisa um pouco de prática para mexer com ele.
Ele não é o Ubuntu corrente, é o "unstable,testing",enquanto vc usa ele, o Time Canonical está mexendo nele,o modificando.
sobre seu problema:
poste a saída deste comando:
cat /etc/apt/sources.list
a instalação de um tema não deveria alterar o apt, mas
outra coisa, GNOME3 não é um tema, é um ambiente gráfico completo...
Ele substitui seu Unity. é outro ambiente gráfico.
vc instalou completo, todos os pacotes dele, do GNOME3?
fechou seu Unity e reabriu sua sessão em GNOME3?
sim eu reiniciei e abriu em gnome3 mas nesse ambiente gráfico quando fui abrir a central de programas do ubuntu a central abria e fechava imediatamente ao digitar na linha de comando sudo apt-get update dava aquele erro que eu avia postado
